But this can’t be successful without engaging young people that why Eco arts initiative engage the young people in plastic free July campaign in the case to give them the opportunity to showcase their potentials in keep Rwanda clean as well as reduce the usage of plastic
The daysstarted by children welcoming the guest from GGGI and Murangwa Jean Baptiste field manager at Eco Arts Initiative introduce the Gatenga Eco club activities and how the are committed in shaping their future though restoring the planet And Juvenal from GGGI make small introduction about GGGI and it mission in Rwanda.

Michelle, Senior officer at GGGI explain the origin of the plastics free July and how is important to our nature and why the young people need to be engaged in this campaign “This campaign was started by Rebecca Prince-Ruiz (the founder of the Plastic Free Foundation) and a small team in local government in Western Australia, and is now one of the most influential environmental campaigns in the world. Millions of people across the globe take part every year, with many committing to reducing plastic pollution far beyond the month of July. We are excited to young people like you and the children committed to save our planet from plastics wastes” Michelle said
The event started 9h 45 end 16h 20 all the young people participate in the has information about plastic waste and how to apply 4R with all the children decided that every year will keep participating in Plastic free July and recall their classmate about the negative impact of plastic waste the posters printed will be distribute in all 24 environmental club from all protected areas where Eco arts conduct its activities.
